Luigi Vagamo explores themes of environmental protection and humanity’s connection to nature and the universe. His work has been featured by National Geographic, NASA, UNESCO, and European Space Agency. Recently exhibited in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Kazakhstan, and South Korea. Named World's Top 35 Astrophotographers in 2026, and Top 70 Astrophotographers in 2025 within the 35Awards international photography competition. 

Combining astrophotography, science, and storytelling, Luigi crafts visual narratives that engage global audiences and spark reflection. His signature project, 'ODE TO THE GLACIERS', documents the fragile beauty of glaciers, highlighting the urgent need for climate action. It received international photography awards from UNESCO, Onewater, MPB, ADB, IDB, and Burghausen, and 35Awards.

A communicator at heart, he advocates for environmental conservation and dark sky preservation through compelling visuals and engaging talks. A member of the NPPA, his photography work is grounded in formal training and professional experience in climate science and policy, bridging storytelling and environmental advocacy.
